EXPERIENCE:
Tom Lambert is a patent attorney with 15 years experience.
He has worked for a variety of large multinationals, in particular in the aerospace and automotive industries, which included taking responsibility for large international patent portfolios of major aircraft and turbocharger manufacturers.
Tom has also acted for a wide range of clients, across a variety of technologies, but has specific areas of experience in oil and gas pipe-laying technology, superchargers, electric vehicles, automated robotics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in the oil and gas industries, including subsea control valve technology, industrial chains, gearboxes and couplings, non-destructive testing, textile manufacturing, domestic heating and safety equipment.
He has been involved with multiple high-value EPO oppositions and has represented clients at oral proceedings at both the European Patent Office and the UK Intellectual Property Office.
Tom advises on issues of patent infringement, validity and patent box.
During his time at the University of Bristol he worked at Airbus’ Flight Physics Department and also worked on a research project involving computational fluid dynamics in relation to morphing wing aircraft technology.
Tom is also a trade mark attorney and has worked for a range of clients ranging from large multinationals to SMEs.
