Experience:

Elliott is a Patent Attorney with significant experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications worldwide, but notably in the UK, Europe, US and East Asia. He specialises in protecting inventions relating to a wide range of technologies, including telecommunications, photonics, electronics, and medical devices, and is frequently engaged by start-up companies and SME’s in view of his close links with the Welsh Assembly and knowledge of the financial assistance available to businesses.

He also has significant experience in filing and prosecuting registered design applications worldwide, for clients wanting to protect the outward appearance of their industrial or handicraft products.

Elliott regularly delivers presentations and lectures on intellectual property and frequently assists the UK Patent Office with their intellectual property masterclasses.

  • Masters Degree in Physics (MPhys) – University of Bath
  • PhD Physics – Optoelectronics – University of Bath
  • European Patent Attorney (EPA)
  • European Design Attorney (EDA)
  • Chartered Patent Attorney (CPA)
