Wynne Jones IP Own Thinking

THREE THINGS YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT DAFYDD:

  •           Dafydd loves to travel. After graduating, he laboured for a refractory firm in order to fund his travels around the world, including stops in Australasia, South East Asia and South America. He has since visited more than 30 countries.

  •      He enjoys 'adrenaline sports', and has bungee jumped, skydived, snowmobiled on an active volcano, and swam with sharks. He is also qualified as a Speciality Scuba Diver.

  • He enjoys watching rugby and (when he can) snowboarding, surfing and horse-riding.

EXPERIENCE:

Before joining Wynne-Jones IP, Dafydd gained extensive public sector experience in relation to trade marks, having first started working for the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO) as a Tribunal Caseworker in November 2007. He then trained as a Trade Mark Examiner before taking up the opportunity to become a UK Seconded National Expert at the European Union IPO. Upon returning to the UK IPO, he developed into the role of a Hearing Officer, working for both the Trade Mark and Tribunal departments.
