Read about Liam's journey to becoming a Trainee Trade Mark Attorney at Wynne-Jones IP.

I initially joined as an IP Administrator

I studied law at University, graduating in 2013, and joining Wynne-Jones IP shortly after. I initially joined as an IP Administrator, before progressing into a number of different roles within the firm, including Trade Mark PA, Formalities Paralegal, Trade Mark Paralegal and am now due to start working as a Trainee Trade Mark Attorney in April 2016.

This route of progression has ensured that I have experience across all aspects of Intellectual Property, but has also given me the opportunity to specialise in an area that I am  particularly interested in.

Now I am a Trade Mark Attorney

My development within the firm is heavily influenced by the excellent training and encouragement I have been provided by my colleagues. Throughout 2014 and 2015, Wynne-Jones enrolled me on the Patent Administrators’ Course and the Trade Mark Administrators’ Course. The training I have received at Wynne-Jones was a contributing factor to my high results in both of these courses, but particularly so in helping me obtain the highest mark in the country for the Trade Mark Administrators’ Course (97%). As part of my new role at Wynne-Jones, I will be enrolling on the courses to qualify as a Trade Mark Attorney.
