Ozgur Aydin

Trainee Patent Attorney 

Three things you didn't know about Ozgur:

  • He is an Argentine Tango Dance instructor and DJ. Ozgur is still actively teaching and performing in various events in Europe 
  • He has enough coffee brewing equipment as well as coffee beans and loose leaf tea in his kitchen cupboard to open a small coffee shop. Hence his passion is to find a way to put coffee, tango and engineering in one single activity one day
  • He has a cat, Gru, named after the notorious villain of "Despicable Me" movie series 

 

Experience:

Prior to joining Wynne-Jones in July 2017, Ozgur worked for a local engineering company in Istanbul as a technical support and field application engineer, commissioning various standalone and integrated automation systems. He also has experience in preparing and translating technical/administrative specifications in the railway industry from Turkish-English-Italian. 

Ozgur has also spent several years volunteering for the AFS Intercultural Programs assisting with orientation camps, exchange student chaperoning and preparing materials. He has also attended various training courses including courses on engaging effectively across cultural and other differences. 

Ozgur joins Wynne-Jones under the training academy programme and will be working towards his qualifying patent attorney exams under the guidance of his mentor, Dr Elliott Davies.
